Maple-Pistachio Oatmeal Crisp with Warm Apple & Pear Filling

A hearty breakfast dish featuring a crunchy maple-pistachio oatmeal topping over warm spiced apple and pear filling.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 2 pears, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix oats, pistachios, maple syrup, and butter in a bowl.
  3. Toss apples, pears, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice in another bowl.
  4. Spread fruit mixture in a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle oat topping evenly over fruit.
