A deliciously unique dessert that combines the earthy flavor of matcha with fresh berries and creamy layers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup matcha green tea powder
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup ladyfinger cookies

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the matcha powder and 1/2 cup of hot water until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. In a trifle dish, layer the ladyfinger cookies at the bottom.
  4. Drizzle some matcha mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Add a layer of the whipped cream mixture on top of the ladyfingers.
  6. Add a layer of mixed berries.
  7. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream and berries on top.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of mascarpone cheese.
  • Feel free to use any combination of berries you prefer.
  • Make sure to use high-quality matcha for the best flavor.
