Milk Chocolate Stuffed Jack-O'-Lantern Cookies

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Orange and green icing for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in the milk chocolate chips.
  7. Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let the cookies cool before decorating with icing to create jack-o’-lantern faces.
