  • 2 pounds beef flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced beef in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce over the beef in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, add the broccoli florets to the crockpot.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then stir it into the crockpot to thicken the sauce.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
