Ingredients

  • 8 egg roll wrappers ($2.00)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese ($0.80)
  • ½ cup cooked ground beef or chicken (optional) ($1.25)
  • 2 Tbsp diced jalapeños ($0.15)
  • ½ cup crushed tortilla chips ($0.20)
  • ¼ cup black beans, drained & rinsed ($0.25)
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning ($0.08)
  • Oil for frying or baking ($0.40)
  • Sour cream or guacamole for dipping ($1.25)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Filling: Mix cheese, meat (if using), jalapeños, beans, chips, and taco seasoning.
  2. Fill Wrappers: Place 2-3 tbsp filling in each wrapper, fold sides, and roll tightly. Seal with water.
  3. Fry: 2-3 mins in 350°F oil until golden.
  4. Bake: 12-15 mins at 400°F, flipping halfway.
  5. Serve: Cool slightly and enjoy with dips!
