1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 large eggs
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until well combined.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake base in the baking dish.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set but still slightly gooey.
Allow to cool before slicing into squares and serving.
