One-Pot Smoked Sausage and Rice Dinner with Bell Peppers and Fresh Herbs

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in diced bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add rice, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir well.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
