Organic Hemp Seed Pesto Pasta

A healthy and delicious twist on traditional pesto pasta using organic hemp seeds for a nutty flavor and added nutrition.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup organic hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast

  • 8 oz pasta of choice

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a food processor, combine basil, hemp seeds, garlic, nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper.
  3. With the processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Drain the pasta and return it to the pot.
  5. Add the hemp seed pesto to the pasta and toss to combine.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional hemp seeds if desired.
