Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. Return steak to the skillet. Add beef broth, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  5. Add cooked pasta and mix until combined. Sprinkle cheese on top and cover until melted.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use ribeye for the best flavor and tenderness.
  • Substitute provolone with American cheese for a creamier texture.
  • Add mushrooms for extra depth of flavor.
