  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • Coleslaw (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  4. Place the pork in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
  5. Bake for 4-5 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily shredded.
  6. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Shred the pork using two forks and mix in the BBQ sauce.
  8. Serve the pulled pork on hamburger buns with coleslaw if desired.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the pork shoulder overnight with the spice rub.
