Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp saffron threads
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Soak saffron threads in 1 tbsp warm water for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix shrimp, saffron water, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. Thread shrimp onto skewers.
  5. Grill over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use metal or soaked wooden skewers.
  • Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
  • Serve with rice or a fresh salad.
