Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies

Deliciously chewy cookies filled with chocolate chips and drizzled with salted caramel.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the salted caramel sauce.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and drizzle the remaining salted caramel sauce on top.
  10. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
