Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée Cheesecake

A decadent cheesecake combining the creamy texture of crème brûlée with the rich taste of salted caramel.

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup turbinado sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and vanilla. Pour over crust.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes until set but slightly jiggly.
  7. Cool completely, then refrigerate for 4 hours.
  8. Spread salted caramel sauce evenly over cheesecake.
  9. Sprinkle turbinado sugar on top. Caramelize with a kitchen torch.
  10. Chill briefly before serving.

  • Use room-temperature ingredients for smoother filling.
  • Don’t overmix the batter to avoid cracks.
  • If no torch, broil sugar topping briefly.
