Sesame crusted air fryer tofu

Crispy sesame-crusted tofu made in an air fryer for a quick and healthy meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder

Instructions

  1. Press tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water.
  2. Cut tofu into cubes or slices.
  3. Mix soy sauce and sesame oil in a bowl.
  4. Coat tofu pieces in the soy sauce mixture.
  5. Combine sesame seeds, cornstarch, garlic powder, and ginger powder in a separate bowl.
  6. Roll tofu pieces in the sesame seed mixture.
  7. Place coated tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Air fry at 375°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  9. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

  • Use extra-firm tofu for best texture.
  • Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
