Slow-Cooker Cabbage Rolls

A simple and delicious recipe for slow-cooker cabbage rolls that are perfect for a hearty meal.

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cabbage by boiling it in water for a few minutes until the leaves are pliable.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley.
  3. Take a cabbage leaf and place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center. Roll it up and tuck in the sides.
  4. Place the rolled cabbage in the slow cooker.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes, then pour over the cabbage rolls in the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is cooked through and the cabbage is tender.
