Smothered Turkey Wings Gravy

  • 4 turkey wings
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season turkey wings with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Brown turkey wings on both sides, then remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  5. Sprinkle flour over onions and stir to make a roux.
  6. Gradually add chicken broth while stirring.
  7. Return turkey wings to the skillet.
  8. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until tender.
  9. Stir in heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes.
