Spicy Jalapeño Burger

  • 2 fresh jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, chopped jalapeños, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
  5. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt.
  6. Toast the burger buns lightly if desired.
  7. Assemble the burgers with the patties and any additional toppings.
