This easy strawberry chia jam is naturally sweetened, plant-based, and made with just two ingredients. Ready in 15 minutes, it’s a no sugar added, gluten-free alternative to traditional jam—perfect for spreading, layering, and spooning over your favorite breakfast and dessert recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • Optional sweetener: stevia, monk fruit, maple syrup, or lemon juice (to taste)

Instructions

  • Rinse, hull, and slice strawberries in half.

  • Add to a medium saucepan over medium heat, covered. Cook, stirring occasionally.

  • Once soft and bubbling, mash to desired texture.

  • Stir in chia seeds and optional sweetener.

  • Let cool to thicken. Transfer to mason jars.

  • Store in the fridge or freeze for longer use.
