Tofu & Broccoli Stir-Fry

A quick and healthy tofu and broccoli stir-fry, perfect for a nutritious meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu (14 oz), cubed
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Press tofu to remove excess water, then cut into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Toss tofu in the sauce and let marinate for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Add tofu and cook until golden, about 5 minutes. Remove from pan.
  6. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  7. Return tofu to the pan.
  8. Mix cornstarch and water, then pour into the pan. Stir until sauce thickens.
  9. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use extra-firm tofu for better texture.
  • Add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for variation.
  • Adjust spice level to your taste.
