Tomato Soup Grilled Cheese Casserole

A comforting and delicious casserole that combines the classic flavors of tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, perfect for a cozy meal.

  • 1 can (28 oz) of tomato soup
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 8 slices of bread
  • 8 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the tomato soup, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Layer four slices of bread, buttered side down, in a greased baking dish.
  5. Place four slices of cheddar cheese on top of the bread.
  6. Pour half of the tomato soup mixture over the cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining bread, cheese, and soup mixture.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
